Omega3 fatty acids

April 10th, 2011 No comments

Omega3 fatty acids are found in fish or the plants fish eat, like certain algae. They are considered the repairman of your arterial system, because they can do a whole lot of fixing up.

Omega3 fatty acids reduce triglyceride levels in your blood (when your triglycerides are high they become a big cause of plaque buildup), and they help reduce the risk of arrhythmia after a heart attack.

Liquid Vitamins

Omega3 fatty acids will also help decrease blood pressure and also make platelets less sticky, to reduce clotting.

Try to eat three portions of fish every week. Some good choices would be wild, line-caught salmon; mahi-mahi; catfish; flounder; tilapia; and whitefish.
