Ionized Water and Green Tea

Over the the last thirty days I have consumed nothing but ionized water and Green tea as my choice for my liquid intake.

On average I have at least eight large glasses of ionized water water and 4 to 5 green tea’s per day.

I quit drinking coffee (took 3 days for the head ache to stop), juice, milk and pop (soda). I was drinking way to much coffee and milk, which was truly bloated the heck out of me.

I don’t drink that much juice or pop (soda) but I decided not to have either of these beverages as well. To much sugar in juices and to much sodium in the pop (soda).

Something to remember with sodium is one part sodium will hold roughly 100 parts water. This will seriously increase your water retention, resulting in excess weight.

Now for the important news I dropped 5 pounds.

I found the first few days a little hard but after that it was a breeze.

Info For Colon Cancer Treatment

Colon melanoma is melanoma with the big intestine (colon), the lower part of your digestive system. Colon cancer is the second most typical cancer in the USA with equal distribution between men and women.

Colon cancer might affect any racial or ethnic group; nevertheless, some studies suggest that Americans of northern European heritage have a higher-than-average danger of colon tumors.

In nearly all cases colon melanoma is a treatable illness if caught early.

Colon cancer usually begins with the appearance of benign growths such as polyps.

Detection of colon cancer at an early age, or at multiple sites, or recurrent colon melanoma, suggests a genetically transmitted form of the disease as opposed to the sporadic form. The most typical colon melanoma cell type is adenocarcinoma which accounts for 95% of all cases.

The development of polyps within the colon usually precedes the development of colon cancer by five or more years. The American Gastroenterologial Association revised its screening guidelines in 2003 to recommend that people with two or more relatives with colorectal melanoma or a parent with colon or rectal cancer prior to age 60 should have a screening colonoscopy beginning at age 40 or beginning 10 years prior to the age with the earlier colon cancer diagnosis in their family (whichever is earliest).

Those with immediate family diagnosed with colon melanoma after age 60 or other relatives with colon or rectal cancer ought to begin screening at age 40 with one of the techniques listed, such as annual sigmoidoscopy. Probably the most common colon melanoma screening tests are colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and fecal occult blood test.

CT scans and Barium enemas are also routinely utilized for diagnosis of colon and rectal cancers.

In colon melanoma, chemotherapy after surgery is generally only given if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes (Stage III). There is not an absolute method for preventing colon melanoma. Exercise is believed to decrease the risk of colon cancer. Apparently, no association exists in between frequency of bowel movement or laxative use and risk of colon cancer.

Drinking Alkaline Water On A Low Calorie Diet

A very difficult thing for people to fully understand is when it comes to their low calorie die,t is that they should be drinking more water. Why water? Why can’t you drink whatever you want? There is one big reason for this on this type of diet. All types of drinks, except plain old water (preferably Alkaline Water), have calories. These calories are hidden and are the worst way for you to waste your calorie intake on for the day. Think about this this. Would you prefer to eat a few more vegetables or fill up on a few more ounces of chicken or would you like to drink a can of soda? When you can effectively learn to give up and drink ionized water, you will save yourself precious calories to use properly in your diet.

Calories are not easy to come by when you are dieting. You really need to cut them out wherever you can, and that includes in the beverages that you consume. A can of soda can have any where from 50 calories well up into the 150 to 200+ range, plus a lot of sodium. But, another thing to consider is just what you get for those calories. You don’t get a full sensation in your stomach so you are still heavy. You don’t get much taste as it is usually gone within a few minutes. And, you get caffeine, sodium, sugars, and even fats that you just don’t want.

To make Alkaline Water a more tasty choice, add something to it. A simple yet effective way to do this is to just add some lemon or lime or even vitamin c crystals into your water. You should be drinking about 2 litres/quarts of ionized water per day. If your not sure how much you are drinking, every morning fill a jug in the refrigerator with a couple of quarts/litres. If you don’t finish it, you haven’t consumed your alkaline water for the day. By the time you have learned to replace your drinks with ionized water, you will have saved yourself a ton of calories.
