I was once given a piece of advice by a man by the name of Peter Mueller. Peter owned a gym that I was training at. Peter said that when you are having cravings for junk food, don’t deprive yourself.
But there was a catch, you can’t have it until the next morning. When you get up first thing in the morning and you still have that craving then go ahead and eat it.
The theory is that the craving will go away before morning time. If you do eat the food that you were craving then at least you have all day to burn it off.
Personally I like to have a junk day which is either on Saturday or Sunday depending on what is going on during the weekend.
But when I have those cravings during the weekdays the above tip usually works, not all the time but more often then not.
Just take it one day at a time.

It is incredibly important that you remember that you are your own person and will experience morning sickness symptoms in your own way; not every remedy that works for your friends will work for you. When it comes to food, don’t force yourself to eat something you have a strong aversion to. The only thing that is not subjected to this rule is milk and dairy products because you need to take in quite a lot of calcium when you are pregnant. If you find that you have an aversion to milk, you might be intolerant to lactose so try drinking a lactose free milk. Yogurt and milk products made from milk gotten from goats and sheep are other alternatives to cow’s milk. In general, you have to find out what foods aggravate your morning sickness symptoms and try to avoid them, while still getting the proper nutrition.
