Foods To Eat During Pregnancy
Some women when asked, how they are feeling during the first few months of pregnancy, will invariably tell you how tired they are. In fact, tiredness is one of the first signs that indicate that a woman may be pregnant. Certain foods to eat during pregnancy can change this feeling.
There will be times when a short walk around the block will make you tired and ready for an afternoon nap. You body requires a lot of energy for nurturing the baby growing inside you. Your body requires more water when dealing with pregnancy and nutrition. Your heart rate and metabolism will increase when you are carrying a baby. Obviously the best way to fight fatigue and help keep the H1N1 Flu Virus away is by sleeping more.
Make sure you start the day with a healthy breakfast to refuel your body after a long night. A cup of coffee with a slice of toast is not called a good breakfast. It is important to have carbohydrates and protein. Try having a banana with some whole grain cereal. You need good food that stays in the body, keeps your energy and blood sugar levels high for some time.
Do not miss your lunch. Some women believe they can skip lunch and make up for it at dinner time. You need to have healthy food through out the day high in protein and good carbohydrates. Food to eat during pregnancy would include chicken, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A good healthy pregnancy is directly related to healthy nutrition. You might consider taking a vitamin supplement. Consult with you doctor for his opinion of which foods to eat when pregnant.
