So, what are the reasons for anxiety attacks? Well, there isn’t any definite answer for everyone. The causes vary from individual to individual and it depends on the situation. So, what I am going to do is share with you the causes of attacks. That way, if you have an attack, you’ll know exactly what to do.
The causes of anxiety attacks are :
1. Fears. Someone, if exposed to something that they’re afraid of, will naturally have an anxiety attack. An example would be if you are frightened of public speaking.
2. Hyperventilation syndrome. This is another cause of anxiety. Hyperventilation syndrome is triggered when you breath through your mouth. When you do this for a very long time, your heart rate increases, which triggers light headedness. And at last it will trigger an anxiety attack.
3. Medications. Using antidepressants unduly, you could be causing an anxiety attack. Taking too many anti-depressant tablets has complications. And that side effect is an anxiety attack. Try hard not to take a lot of anti-depressant drugs.
4. Heredity. If one of the members of your family has a history of anxiety attacks or panic attacks, there is a probability that you’ll have this disorder too.
5. Short term causes. When something dramatic happens in your life,eg somebody close to you dying, it might trigger an anxiety attack. If you’re having emotional Problems, make sure you don’t intake too much caffeine. It could lead you to have an anxiety attack.
6. Environment. Another reason for anxiety attacks is because of the environment. It could be from the wet or hot atmosphere. Or it may be from you being around too many people. Some folks can’t deal with being around lots of people for long time periods.
These are some causes of anxiety attacks. If you have these signs, you have to do something about it. Waiting to stop your anxiety attack might be fatal.
