Do Some simple Research To Find The Cure For Insomnia

If you have sleep problems and suffer from insomnia, you want to find The Cure for Insomnia, a quick easy fix, so you can stop worrying about it

If you see your doctor you will most certainly be given sleeping pills. So that’s it, then?!

However, it isn’t that simple – if you have problems sleeping the best long term result will be achieved if you first do some simple research.

Your research should try to find out why you don’t sleep well. This article will help you in finding out where to look for the reasons behind your insomnia problems.

One way of looking at the cause(s) of insomnia is to divide them into several categories , each of which has to be looked at separately

Here are a few different ways:

Physical breathing problems, i.e asthma or hay fever;  cold ;  tinnitus;  tooth ache, back ache and migraines, joint pain, and physical injuries.

;Physiological –  napping during the day ;  late night exercise ;  being jet lagged ;  noise .

#    Psychological –  grief;   feeling stressed   worrying ;  being wound up ;  being tense.

#    Psychiatric -  depression ;  being anxious ;  suffering from a

#    Pharmacological -  alcohol , beta blockers;  corticosteroids;  coffee or tea ;  nasal decongestants;   many asthma remedies;  most of the anti depressants.

#    Environmental -  over-or under heating your bedroom;   noise ;  light ;  diverse allergies .

#    Circadian Rhythm  Imbalances -  problems sleeping caused by your “inner clock” being out of sync with daily life. Look at teenagers,

where their sleep time is too late, or elderly people, wake up too early.

When you look at the examples given, and think about it, you probably realize that you can simplify it  even more.

Either the causes of your sleeping difficulties are outside of yourself -  physiological, environmental, physical – or they are “inside” yourself”.  Of course they may also overlap, but I did say “simpler”!

It is believed that maybe 75% – 80% of sleeping difficulties have a psychological background, for example anxiety or depression.
turning it around, long term insomnia often leads to depression.

As you can see, there is no one “cure for insomnia”.

Very simplified: start by assessing if the problem stems from “outer” causes – and if so, try to change  them.

If you think the main cause originates inside yourself, try to change yourself.
