Why Routine Can Be A Cure For Insomnia
If you suffer from insomnia the search for anything that will make you sleep can become all consuming.
The strange thing is, that simply the fact of not sleeping well can
push you into a vicious circle , making it even more difficult finding a cure for insomnia.
When you worry about not being able to sleep – your worry makes you anxious and simply cannot relax .

+ Don’t drink coffee or alcohol for about 2-4 hours before bedtime and create a pattern of relaxing each evening, whilst you think about tomorrow When you actually get into bed you won’t then lie there thinking about tomorrow, worrying about bills or shopping or anything else – you’ve already done all that!
+ Establish a routine going to bed and getting up at the same time. Contrary to myth you can’t save sleep, you can, however, catch up missed sleep. This means that even if you feel wiped out one morning, do get up , don’t nap during the day and chances are you will fall asleep quicker the next night.
This obviously is a pattern that will help you if you suffer from mild insomnia – if you have a severe difficulty with sleeping then you will need a more sophisticated cure for insomnia!
