Ice or Heat

Just a quick note when dealing with an injury that is inflamed like a sore back or shoulder never put heat on the injured area.

Always use ice. The days of using heat are primarily over, ice will bring down the swelling and help soothe the injured area.

Look at it this way if you have an injury that is swollen or inflamed why would you add more heat to the fire. Use ice to help the injured area not heat.

doctor.
